On June 30, meetings were held with veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine from the Illinivska and Kryvorizka rural territorial communities.

The events were attended by the head of the Department of Veteran Policy of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Artur Nasibyan, the deputy head of the Pokrovsk District State Administration, Oleksandr Fomenko, the acting head of the Department of Veteran Policy of the Kramatorsk District State Administration, Iryna Cherniakova, the head of the Kryvorizka Rural Military Administration, Anna Cherkashina, and the deputy head of the Illinivska Rural Military Administration, Natalia Lebedeva.

During the meetings, issues concerning people who have personal losses, pain, and frontline trials were discussed. Key areas of state support were addressed: social guarantees, psychological and legal assistance, employment opportunities, vocational training, and starting a business with the help of the employment service. Special attention was paid to pension provision, granting benefits, and initiatives to honor the memory of fallen Heroes – in particular, the establishment of a Board of Honor in the Kryvorizka community.

At the center of the conversation are people, their needs, and dignity. After all, caring for veterans and the families of the fallen should remain not just a declaration, but a daily practice.

The main message of the meeting is to be there for each other. True strength is born in unity: when representatives of power at all levels act together, we not only overcome difficulties but also open the way to recovery, to a dignified life, to a future where there is support, respect, and hope.
