On March 13, a meeting was held with veterans, military personnel, and family members of fallen (deceased) defenders of Ukraine from the Andriivska rural community.
Representatives from the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Donetsk Oblast Employment Center attended the meeting.
The purpose of the event was to inform veterans and their family members about available social guarantees, state and regional support programs, as well as to establish a dialogue on current issues of social protection.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- providing information on social guarantees offered at the state and regional levels;
- the implementation of social support measures for war veterans, military personnel, and their family members in the Andriivska rural community.
Meeting participants had the opportunity to ask questions of representatives from relevant agencies and receive clarification on the procedures for obtaining social benefits, privileges, and services. Such events help improve cooperation between government agencies and veterans, as well as raise public awareness.
