On June 11, a meeting was held with veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine from the Kurakhiv City Community.
Representatives from the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Regional Employment Center, and the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
- social protection measures for veterans and the families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine, funded by the local budget of the Kurakhiv City Territorial Community;
- services provided by the Employment Center to veterans and their family members;
- pension benefits and subsidies for housing and utility services for family members of fallen Defenders of Ukraine.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, provided information on social guarantees provided at the national and regional levels.
