On June 17, a meeting was held with veterans and their family members from the Mariupol community, attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department for Veterans’ Policy, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, the Regional Employment Center, and the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
During the event, the following topics were discussed:
- the city’s targeted program “Mariupol Respects You” to support war veterans, their family members, family members of deceased war veterans, and family members of deceased Defenders of Ukraine;
- opportunities provided by the employment service for job search and professional development;
- the provision of services related to pensions, benefits, and other payments to veterans and their families.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Department for Veterans’ Policy at the Regional State Administration, spoke about state and additional social guarantees funded by the state and regional budgets.
