On December 16, a meeting was held with veterans and family members of deceased defenders of Ukraine from the Pokrovsk municipal community. Representatives of the regional administration's department for veteran policy, the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
- social guarantees provided at the state and regional levels;
- the status of implementation of veteran policy and plans for 2026;
- features of counting periods of military service toward insurance experience, as well as pension provision and benefits for war veterans and families of deceased defenders of Ukraine;
- The procedure for providing assistance in resolving housing issues for certain categories of internally displaced persons who lived in the temporarily occupied territory, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1176 of 22.09.2025.
A specialist from the Pokrovsk Social Services Center held a master class entitled "Restoring Yourself."
