Over the past day, DTEK Donetsk Grids’ emergency repair crews restored power supply to 15,600 households in 16 frontline settlements of the region. Despite constant enemy shelling, the company’s specialists are doing everything possible to bring electricity back to Donetsk region as soon as conditions allow and the military grants permission for repair work.
On September 2, DTEK Donetsk Grids’ teams fully or partially restored electricity in 16 settlements across the region. Power was returned to 15,619 families.
Shelling of Donetsk region continues — airstrikes, missile, drone, and artillery attacks remain ongoing. Fighting constantly damages networks and equipment, and energy specialists do not always have access to repair sites due to the security situation. The crews will restore electricity for all residents of the region as soon as they receive clearance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working without interruption for 1,288 days, repairing equipment and lines as soon as it becomes possible.
