Over the past 24 hours, emergency repair crews of DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power supply to 18,600 households in 10 frontline settlements of the region. Despite ongoing enemy shelling, the company’s specialists are doing everything possible to restore electricity in Donetsk region as soon as circumstances allow and the military grants permission to carry out the work.
On August 18, specialists of DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity in 10 settlements of the region. 18,635 families once again have light in their homes.
Shelling of Donetsk region continues. Airstrikes, missile attacks, drone strikes, and artillery bombardments persist. Due to hostilities, networks and equipment are constantly being damaged. Company specialists do not always have access to the repair sites because of the security situation in the region. Energy workers will certainly return electricity to all residents of the region as soon as they receive permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform the work.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,273 days, restoring equipment and power lines immediately whenever possible.
