Today is Military Journalist Day.
A day for those who serve in the Armed Forces and work with words and cameras, and for civilian reporters who cover the war every single day.
They work where artillery roars, where the smoke has not yet cleared, where truth is born together with pain. They document crimes, bear witness to courage, and name names — so the world can see, so that no one can ever say: “We didn’t know.”
Behind every report lies risk. Behind every frame — personal bravery.
We remember those who lost their lives while carrying out their duty. Their texts and videos remain with us — as evidence, as memory, as part of our struggle.
I thank all military journalists — in uniform and without — for your honesty, resilience, and loyalty to the truth. Take care of yourselves.
And may the truth you defend always be stronger than fear.
