As part of the nationwide project "Side by Side: United Communities," children from the Kostyantynivka and Uzhhorod communities took part in the creative online event "Christmas Workshop," which brought participants together around shared traditions, inspiration, and the atmosphere of the upcoming winter holidays.
During the workshop, children create Christmas tree decorations, New Year's crafts, and themed decorative items with their own hands. All works are posted on a shared Padlet board in the "Christmas and New Year's Art Space" section, where everyone can view the creative achievements of the participants and support their initiatives.
In addition to creative crafts, children prepare Christmas and New Year video greetings for residents of both communities. The greetings are published in a special section called "Festive Palette of Greetings," creating a space for kind words, warm emotions, and mutual support.
The project demonstrates that joint activities and creativity can overcome distances, contributing to the strengthening of mutual understanding and the formation of a single space for children's communication between communities.
