





As part of the project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," a delegation from the Pokrovska community paid a working visit to the city of Khust in Zakarpattia. The delegation was headed by Serhiy Dobriak, head of the Pokrovske City Military Administration.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen partnerships between the communities and discuss current areas of cooperation in the areas of social protection, support for internally displaced persons, expanding infrastructure capabilities and implementing joint initiatives.
Among the main topics of the working visit was the allocation of premises for the partial relocation of the Territorial Social Service Center of the Pokrovske community. The issue of providing social housing for community residents temporarily residing in Khust district, in particular those who are unable to register their housing ownership, was discussed separately.
At the initiative of the Khust city authorities, the Pokrovsk delegation also visited the modern sports complex "Karpaty", where it is planned to organize training camps for Pokrovsk athletes. They also inspected the facility of the Young Biologists' Station, which is being considered as a base for creating a children's health camp.
The delegation paid special attention to the meeting with IDPs. The leaders of the Pokrovske community visited the humanitarian hub "Ednannia", where 979 IDPs are currently registered.
