"Youth Decides: Conversation Without Barriers" - this is the title of a meeting of active youth with the leadership of the Maryinsky community today.
Yuriy Hryhulets, head of the Maryinsky City Military Administration, and Liliya Zolkina, head of the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, congratulated young men and women on the upcoming Youth Day.
Serhiy Mishchenko, head of the Youth Council at the Maryinsky City Military Administration, expressed sincere gratitude for the support of the youth movement and noted that despite the difficult circumstances, the young generation of our community remains active, has interesting ideas, and is always ready to develop and join forces with the authorities to achieve a common goal.
With a minute of silence, those present honored the memory of the fallen Heroes, thanks to whom our youth can live, act, and fight for their dreams today.
The next part of the meeting was devoted to a conversation about mental health. In the open microphone format, everyone had the opportunity to ask questions to government officials. They spoke sincerely and meaningfully about supporting youth in the fields of culture, sports, and education; the role of youth councils; helping displaced people from our community, as well as the challenges facing youth today. Young participants were active, asking questions that really interested them, and officials answered sincerely and willingly shared their own professional experience.
Then, everyone was invited to create a “Community Youth Capsule.” Everyone had the opportunity to write a short message to themselves in the future, for example, a few words about their dream, plan, and goal.
At the end of the event, a creative video of young leaders of the Maryinsky community was presented with their stories that inspire us to believe in the best.
For their active civic position and socio-cultural development of the community, the youth were awarded the Gratitude of the Maryinsky City Military Administration.
The atmosphere of the event was very welcoming, the dialogue with the authorities united the youth, which will contribute to the development of youth policy and the formation of an active civil society in the community.
