On February 25, a joint initiative of the Irkliiv, Shakhovka, and Bilolutsk communities held a charity auction called "Together We Are Strong!" dedicated to Ukrainian Women's Day.
The event was organized to support Ukrainian military personnel as part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities."
The auction featured creative and decorative-applied artworks prepared by educational institutions, the Center for Children's and Youth Creativity, craftsmen, and community residents. Among the lots were wood and straw crafts, paintings, icons, beadwork, motanka dolls, towels, embroidered shirts, soap bouquets, flower pots, and other works.
The event brought together representatives of partner communities, educators, cultural workers, the public, and concerned residents.
The charity event raised 24,705 hryvnias. The money was transferred to the NGO "Volunteer Movement of the Irkliiv Community," which will ensure its further transfer to the military unit performing combat missions in eastern Ukraine. Among its servicemen are residents of participating communities who need support.
Such initiatives once again confirm that unity is our strength. Communities continue to work together to support Ukrainian defenders and bring victory closer.
