Today, May 26, 2025, Georgia celebrates its main state holiday - Independence Day.
Ukraine has become a homeland for twenty thousand Georgians. And for the first time in the territory of Zolotonosha, this day was also celebrated. As part of the project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities," the Shakhiv and Irkliiv communities jointly organized the holiday "Taste of Georgia."
In the territory of the private historical and ethnographic museum "Cossack Lands of Ukraine" in the village of Veremiivka, two cultures - Georgian and Ukrainian - came together. Songs, national cuisines, folk costumes, and vibrant dances of Georgians defending Ukrainian lands: all of this merged into one unique mystery.
Georgia and 🇺🇦Ukraine — two countries united not only by a common past but also by similar challenges, aspirations for freedom, independence, and a European future. These are nations with a proud history, unwavering dignity, and great love for their homeland.
