The third wellness session at the "Pearl of Donetsk Region" Children's Center has come to an end. From July 10 to July 30, children spent their holidays at the Karpaty and Sonyachne Zakarpattia sanatoriums.
During the session, the children took part in sports competitions, creative projects, quests, and events dedicated to Ukrainian culture and history. They visited Schönborn Palace, the Shypit Waterfall, Mukachevo, and an eco-park, interacted with animals, and explored the beauty of Zakarpattia.
"Another 670 children from the Donetsk region spent three weeks of summer in a place where air raid sirens were replaced by mountain landscapes, new friendships, and daily adventures.
The most valuable outcome is that the children are returning home with new friends, unforgettable memories, and renewed strength. This is exactly why, for the fourth consecutive year, together with local communities, we have been organizing safe summer recreation for them.
Throughout the summer, more than 2,000 children who require special social care and support will have the opportunity to improve their health at the 'Pearl of Donetsk Region' center. The next session will begin on August 2.
