This was reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
Employees of emergency medical response teams working in combat zones have received their February 2026 salaries, including additional payments for work in areas of possible and active hostilities.
A reorganization of the Center is currently underway. Yesterday, an order was signed to dismiss the Director of the Center following the completion of an inspection by the State Audit Service of Ukraine. After that, the Medical Director will temporarily perform the duties of the head of the Center.
Once the official report is received, measures will be developed to eliminate the identified violations and ensure the stable operation of the emergency service.
Work is also underway on a plan for the functioning of the Center under the current situation in Donetsk Oblast, considering available financial resources and the planned funding from the National Health Service of Ukraine. A new organizational structure is also being developed, taking into account the need to preserve medical staff and the agreements reached during a meeting with the Center’s team and the Viktor Liashko.
Three ambulance vehicles have been transferred to the substation of Dobropillia, which is currently located in the settlement of Novodonetske, in order to improve the work of emergency teams.
A technical inspection of the Center’s vehicle fleet is also underway to conclude contracts for maintenance and repair.
“Providing emergency medical care across the region is one of the key priorities of the regional administration. Therefore, medical workers must receive proper support and resources.
I keep this situation under personal control. We are working,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
