The sanatorium and rehabilitation center for social rehabilitation "Emerald City," which operates in the village of Orynyn in the Khmelnytskyi region under relocation conditions, continues to accept children from Donetsk for rest and rehabilitation.
At the beginning of the eighth shift, the regional training "Unbreakable Sich" took place as part of the All-Ukrainian children's and youth game "Falcon" ("Dzhura"). The event gathered nearly 200 participants from Donetsk, including 57 dzhuras, winners of the II (regional) stage of the game.
Everything is like in a real camp: morning exercises, drill training, evening bonfires, the "In the Circle of Friends" campfire, and duty on camp guard. The program also included exciting excursions, competitions, master classes, and meetings with heroes of modern Ukraine.
Over seven days, the young participants faced challenges that strengthen the body, forge character, and form team spirit. Among the activities:
- tourist obstacle course,
- archery and crossbow shooting,
- sport orienteering,
- terrain game,
- first aid and tactical medicine,
- briefings from military personnel, police officers, sapper units, the NGO "Dronoroby," and representatives of "Azov,"
- psychological support in the "Balance Center,"
- creation of swarm symbols and slogans.
Real intellectual and practical challenges awaited the dzhuras during the competitions: knowledge of Ukrainian history was tested in the "Vidun" contest, and first aid skills were assessed in the "Rescuer" exam. Participants from the middle and senior age groups also practiced throwing training grenades and shooting with pneumatic rifles – these skills not only build confidence and attentiveness but will also come in handy during the III (All-Ukrainian) stage of the game.
The training concluded with a solemn ceremony: all dzhuras received certificates, cups, and gifts – as recognition of their achievements and motivation to continue learning, growing, maintaining order, and remaining worthy descendants of an unconquered nation.
The training was supported by:
- military unit A2641,
- National Police of Ukraine,
- Association of Sappers of Ukraine,
- the standard-bearer service of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov."
As well as creative teams from the Bakhmut College of Culture and Arts named after I. Karabyts and the canine service of the National Police, which organized a real show.
