As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Siverskyi community held an open photo and video contest titled “Easter Basket.”
The event was organized by the Siverskyi Center for Culture and Leisure in collaboration with the “Territory of Youth” Youth Center. The contest became a warm, family-oriented, and truly festive event timed for Easter, bringing participants together around Ukrainian traditions, spiritual values, and creativity.
Representatives from partner communities joined the event:
- the Siverskyi City Territorial Community,
- the Onokivska Rural Territorial Community,
- the Olhopilskyi Rural Territorial Community,
- the Dubrynytsko-Malobereznyanska Rural Territorial Community.
Each contest entry reflected sincerity, love for native traditions, and the comfort of home. Participants shared more than just photos and videos—they conveyed the atmosphere of Easter, family warmth, faith, and unity, which hold special value for each of us today.
The vast majority of participants were children and young people. This demonstrates that Ukrainian traditions are alive and being passed on to the next generation. We thank the adults for raising their children and instilling a love for our national cultural heritage.
The contest winners were determined by the highest number of likes on the organizers’ page.
Based on the voting results, Natalia Sevostyanova was declared the winner, and participants whose entries received the most support were also recognized.
The winner and the most active participants in the contest will receive incentive gifts from the Siversk City Military Administration.
We sincerely thank everyone for their participation, inspiration, and commitment to preserving Ukrainian traditions. Let’s preserve our traditions together—side by side, in unity and mutual support!
