As part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," an interactive online game "Nightingale Show" was held to celebrate the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language.
The event was attended by representatives of the Siverska, Onokivska, and Mukachivska communities, who, despite the distance and difficult conditions, united in a single cultural space for the love of their native language.
"Language is not just a means of communication. It is our home, our memory, our pride. It sounds in songs, prayers, children's fairy tales, and conversations in the kitchen. And today we feel how strongly we are united by the Ukrainian word," the host said at the opening.
The event program included four interactive rounds:
- "Picture" is a contest of observation and linguistic imagination;
- "Language Philosophy" - reflections on famous sayings about language;
- "Guess the Ukrainian Song" - a musical round that put the participants in a real mood;
- "Emoji Literature" was a creative challenge where participants had to recognize literary works using emojis.
The game was held in an atmosphere of sincerity, mutual respect, and shared love for the Ukrainian word. The participants demonstrated not only excellent knowledge but also a true team spirit.
There were no winners or losers here, because the language won, unity won, and love for the native word won. Let the Ukrainian language always sound in our hearts - pure, proud and nightingale-like.
Such events help to unite Ukrainians from different parts of the country, strengthen cultural resilience, and remind us that as long as the Ukrainian language sounds, Ukraine lives!
