Despite constant enemy strikes, the police unit "White Angel" together with volunteers continue the evacuation of the civilian population from the frontline city. In the last week, 28 people have been evacuated from the fire-affected community.
Once a flourishing city — now devastated and dangerous. Ruins, fragments of shells, remnants of drones, and empty streets — this is the reality of Pokrovsk. Enemy strikes are becoming more frequent and targeted. People who hesitated to leave their homes for a long time are now asking for rescue themselves.
The police are evacuating from neighborhoods and the private sector. Due to roads blocked by debris, it is impossible to reach some areas, so residents have to walk or ride bicycles to the designated location where law enforcement is already waiting for them.
Due to the constant threat of drones, the "White Angel" crew cannot stay in one place for long. Therefore, each evacuation takes place at an accelerated pace.
Despite the danger, the "White Angels" return to the city every day – for those who have not yet managed to leave. And every "Thank God, you have arrived!" is the greatest motivation to risk their lives again and again.
