Donetsk Region Employment Service: Results That Create Opportunities

Published 10 December 2025 year, 11:25

Despite the daily challenges brought by the war, the Donetsk Region Employment Service continues to focus on what matters most — supporting people, helping them find jobs, acquire new professions, and begin new chapters in their lives.

Over the first 11 months of this year, we have achieved the following results:

more than 21,000 people received services;

12,500 citizens were employed;

2,800 people acquired a new profession.

The employment rate after training is 91%, proving that training works.

Supporting employers is an investment in jobs.

2,400 employers entrusted the Employment Service with staff recruitment.

87% of vacancies were filled.

The average salary offered is 15,000 UAH.

Donetsk region is among the national leaders in organizing community service work.

Nearly 10,000 referrals were issued for work that helps communities every day: clearing debris, arranging shelters, packaging humanitarian aid, assisting socially vulnerable groups. This is not just temporary employment — it is a contribution to the region’s recovery and real support for people nearby.

Supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs).

The Employment Service is one of the first institutions IDPs turn to.

8,000 displaced people received our support this year.

3,200 IDPs were employed, including through the wartime wage reimbursement program for employers.

The Donetsk Region Employment Service works where help is needed most. It supports those who lost their jobs because of the war. It helps displaced people start a new professional journey. It gives employers the opportunity to create jobs.

Behind every number is a human story. Because every new job, every newly acquired profession, and every business created is a step toward a resilient Donetsk region — a strong and unbreakable region that fights every day for life and development.
