In challenging times for Donetsk region, issues of employment, business support, and social stability become especially important. That is why cooperation between the employment service and local authorities is a key condition for community recovery.
On April 3, Nataliia Adamova, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, held a series of meetings with representatives of the Lyman urban territorial community, currently relocated to Sloviansk.
The focus was on supporting people. Discussions centered on expanding employment opportunities for community residents, particularly internally displaced persons who need to quickly adapt in new locations. Nataliia Adamova presented the tools of the employment service that have already proven effective: vocational training, grant programs for business development, and compensation mechanisms for employers.
Special attention was given to the digitalization of services. Modern challenges require fast and convenient solutions, and the introduction of electronic services — including the experimental project “Obrii” — opens up new opportunities for remote employment and access to services without unnecessary barriers.
Joint efforts continue, with a clear focus on people, their needs, and their opportunities.
