Specialists of the Employment Service help not only in finding a job but also in rebuilding the professional path of those who have endured the terrible challenges of war. It is important that every person has the opportunity to regain confidence in themselves and in their future.

Former prisoner of war Yuliia Panina received a voucher for training in Psychology. She will study at Mariupol State University to be able, in the future, to help people who have also gone through difficult trials.

She learned about the voucher training program during one of the meetings with employment service specialists from Donetsk region who visited the hospital where she was undergoing rehabilitation. Such initiatives are carried out to provide former prisoners of war with support and assistance in building a new professional career.

For Yuliia, this is not just a new profession but also an opportunity to comprehend her own experience and turn it into strength that will help others. After all, many people affected by the war need professional psychological support to overcome traumatic events and return to normal life.

“Studying will open the way for me to a new career and will be another step toward recovery. Once I gain a specialization, I will be able to work with service members, their families, displaced persons, and others who have gone through difficult life circumstances,” Yuliia shared during a meeting with the acting director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, Nataliia Adamova.

The Employment Service is always ready to support those who need new knowledge, a profession, and confidence in tomorrow.
