Maria Khupchenko, a representative of the Soledar City Community and director of the Soledar City Council School of Arts, took part in the 10th Ethnofest at the Frank Estate, which was held at the “Nahuyevychi” State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
The Soledar community’s participation in the event was made possible as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” and in accordance with the memorandum of cooperation between the Soledar and Drohobych city communities.
The anniversary Ethnofest was held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the slogan “Let’s Organize an Anniversary Franko-Therapy—Together!” As part of the event, a charity fundraiser was held to support wounded servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, their families, and the families of fallen heroes.
During the festival’s patriotic concert, Maria Khupchenko proudly represented the Soledar community of Donetsk Oblast by performing the song “Play, My Dear Musician, Play.”
The participation of a representative from the Soledar community in such a large-scale cultural and charitable event served as yet another example of the unity of Ukrainian communities and the importance of cultural partnerships.
The Soledar community continues to actively participate in joint initiatives, showcase the cultural potential of the Donetsk region, and strengthen friendly ties with partner communities.
