It is important for people who have been forced to leave their homes and evacuate to receive support in their new location. At shelters, social workers help residents with everyday tasks that can be difficult to manage on their own due to age or other circumstances.

Lyubov, 82, is originally from a small village in the Donetsk region. After being forced to leave her home, she now lives in a shelter in Dnipro. For her, the support provided by social worker Viktoria has become an important part of her daily life.

She explains that Viktoria helps her with laundry, cooking, and grocery shopping. They also work together on the “Secrets of Longevity” journal.

Ms. Lyubov shares that Viktoria always responds to her requests for help with everyday tasks.

Social workers are part of a project implemented by the “Angels of Salvation” Charitable Foundation, thanks to funding from the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine.
