All cases were analyzed in detail in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine. Based on the results of the review, the commission decided to grant the appropriate status to the applicants.

Such meetings are an extremely important step in ensuring social protection of people affected by the largest man-made disaster of the twentieth century. They allow for a timely response to citizens' requests, providing them with state benefits and social guarantees.

Donetsk Regional State Administration will continue to work to ensure the legal rights and social protection of those who have experienced the consequences of the Chernobyl tragedy.
