The Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren, together with the Department of Emergency Rescue and Professional and Applied Training of the NAU Flight Academy in Kropyvnytskyi, held the Donetsk Region Open Cup in Indoor Hiking "Silver Carabiner."
The competition was held remotely, which allowed teams from the Donetsk, Odesa, and Kirovohrad regions to participate:
- 17 teams;
- 65 participants;
- modern digital platforms;
- fair competition and clear rules;
Participants completed tasks in real time via a social network messenger, with each stage being checked by judges before the next one was opened. It was a real test of attentiveness, knowledge, and teamwork.
The Cup program included:
- online orienteering via video distance;
- testing on the rules and safety of sports tourism;
- tying tourist knots with photo confirmation;
- judging practice — analysis of penalties on the distance.
The Silver Carabiner is about endurance, thinking, responsibility, and respect for the values that Ukraine is fighting for.

Second place — "Heart of Patriots," village of Velyka Novosilka;
Third place — "Trim," city of Bakhmut.
Older age group:
First place — "Eastern Pulse," village of Velyka Novosilka;
Among adults:
First place – "Dzhury," Selidovo city and Velyka Novosilka village;
