


In August 2025, as part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," the Ocheretynska settlement territorial community and the Starobohorodchany village council signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The Memorandum has become not just a signed document, it has become a pulsating energy of partnership that goes beyond formalities and territories.
The partnership meeting of the communities on September 26, 2025, was a mutual search for ways to transform challenges into advantages, exchange of experience in implementing social, educational, cultural and humanitarian initiatives, and discussion of areas for further cooperation.
Representatives of the Ocheretyn settlement military administration presented the vectors of their activities, inviting the leadership and employees of the Starobohorodchany community to travel on the symbolic train "Together We Are Strong".
The acquaintance with the community began with the location "Heroes' Policy: Taking Care of the Defenders" The community is actively implementing a veteran policy, which is being taken care of by the community's Social Protection Department. Important initiatives are being implemented to support heroes and their families. An electronic Book of Memory was created in memory of the fallen defenders from the Ocheretynska community.
The guests were interested in the locations "Health is a priority" and "Step to the meeting", where they learned about the principles of the health care system in the community, the programs implemented with the support of the leadership of the Ocheretynka settlement military administration; what humanitarian assistance is provided to the community residents.
While traveling through the locations "Look to the Future: Youth Speaks," "Cultural Colors of Ocheretynka," and "Osvitosphere," the participants learned about the activities of the community's youth council, the results of the social project "Active Parks - Locations of Healthy Ukraine," the work of the vocal group, and educational startups.
The meeting ended with joint conclusions about the need to make every effort to build community capacity. There are interesting projects, new opportunities, and useful ideas ahead that will help strengthen the potential of both communities, establish a constructive dialogue, increase the level of interaction between communities, and strengthen partnerships in wartime.
