High school students from Donetsk Oblast visited career guidance hubs as part of the DECIDE project

Published 05 May 2026 year, 09:59

As part of the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project, students from the Bakhmut community who are currently living in Chernihiv, Brovary, and Kremenchuk visited modern career guidance hubs.

Practical sessions and tours took place at facilities based at leading vocational and technical education institutions: the Chernihiv Railway Transport Lyceum, the municipal institution “Chernihiv Center for Vocational and Technical Education,” the Brovary Vocational Lyceum, and Higher Vocational School No. 7 in Kremenchuk.

During the visits, students progressed from learning the basics of their specializations to working on actual machines. The program covered key areas of vocational education: construction, metalworking, electrical engineering, IT, and culinary arts. The students had the opportunity to work with tools themselves, try out different roles, and even taste their own baked goods!

Such events help young people make informed career choices, broaden their horizons, and motivate them toward a successful future.
