Electronic employment records provide citizens with the opportunity to:
🔸 securely preserve their insurance record and check it at any time;
🔸 minimize the risk of losing or damaging employment data contained in paper documents;
🔸 in the future, apply for a pension without personally visiting the institutions of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
How to ensure your employment record is preserved:
Employment history accrued before January 1, 2004, is confirmed by entries in a paper employment book.
After January 1, 2004, employment record periods are calculated automatically based on data from the Register of Insured Persons.
Ukrainian legislation provides that the Pension Fund of Ukraine enters missing employment information into the register based on digitized paper employment books or other documents issued by places of employment, military service, education institutions, or archival organizations.
Therefore, individuals who have employment history prior to 2004 must digitize these periods to ensure they are taken into account when calculating their future pension benefits.
