The Svyatogorsk Community Learns from Its Partners’ Experience in Developing Inclusive Education

Published 07 October 2026 year, 11:31

The war presents us with new challenges every day, but it also unites communities that are moving in the same direction. On October 6, as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” an important event titled “Inclusive Education in the Community—As a System of Educational Services” took place.

It was organized by the Chemerovetskaya settlement community in the Khmelnytskyi region, the Velykoberezovychi settlement community in the Ternopil region, and the Svyatogorsk community in the Donetsk region.

For the Svyatogorsk urban community, which operates under extremely difficult frontline conditions, each such meeting is not just a professional event, but a demonstration of shared resilience. This is especially true now, as the number of children requiring special support and attention due to the stress and trauma of war continues to grow. Our shared goal is to ensure that no child is left to face their difficulties alone, and that educational institutions are safe and accessible spaces for everyone.

That is precisely why the experience of our colleagues in building an inclusive environment for a frontline community is invaluable. The Sviatohirsk City Military Administration sincerely thanks its partner communities for their professional leadership and willingness to share practical knowledge.

Together we are stronger! Let’s create equal opportunities for our children for the sake of our shared future!
