Sewing machines and computer equipment evacuated from educational institutions in the Siverska community in 2022 have now been installed and are fully operational in the Onokivska rural community.
The equipment was transferred for temporary use to the partner community as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
Equipment evacuated during the difficult period of full-scale war must be used continuously, as prolonged storage without use leads to wear and tear and breakdowns. That is why the decision to temporarily transfer the equipment was a practical and responsible step.
The donated computer equipment is used to teach schoolchildren, conduct educational classes, and develop digital skills.
Meanwhile, a sewing club for various age groups has been organized at the community center in the village of Kamianitsa. As part of the club’s activities, children and young people sew national flags, stage costumes, and themed outfits, developing practical skills, creativity, and patriotism.
