This was announced by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
The decision was made on October 16 during a regular meeting of the Defense Council of Donetsk Region.
The allocated funds will enable the military to purchase electronic warfare systems, UAVs, and FPV drones — the tools that are currently saving lives and helping destroy the enemy.
Special attention was also given to the construction of fortifications, mobilization issues, and the need to enforce the ban on alcohol sales in the region.
“We continue to work systematically to strengthen the region’s defense capabilities, support our defenders, and ensure the safety of residents,” Filashkin emphasized.
