June 4 — Day of Remembrance for the children who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. On this day, all of Ukraine bows its heads in mourning for the youngest victims of the war — children whose lives were cut short due to military actions.
Residents of the Toretsk and Ruzhyn communities are invited to join the annual nationwide action "Voices of Children" as part of the project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities".
As part of the "Voices of Children" action, it is proposed to:
tie bells on trees — symbols of the voices of children whose parents will never hear them again;
if bells are not available — place symbolic figures of white doves;
honor the memory of the deceased children with a moment of silence and light candles in remembrance.
On this day, the bells will ring throughout the country, transforming into the voices of our little angels who became innocent victims of the war.
May each symbol become a sign of our memory, grief, and unbreakable faith in justice. We remember. We unite. We act.
