On June 28, 2025, it will be 29 years since the Constitution of Ukraine was adopted. This year, we will once again celebrate the state holiday in the conditions of armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Despite the horrors of war, life in Donetsk region continues: children continue to receive education, residents of the region have access to medical and social services, and conditions are being created for the development of creative abilities, etc.
On the occasion of Constitution Day of Ukraine, the regional state administration has launched a regional campaign "The Constitution of Ukraine through the Prism of War." The stories of the residents of Donetsk region once again prove that even in a state of war, the commitment to constitutional principles is important for the Ukrainian state – the affirmation of human rights and freedoms, compliance with universal and European values, which the Ukrainian people bravely defend in modern conditions, protecting freedom, territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Article 23. Everyone has the right to free development of their personality, provided that the rights and freedoms of others are not violated, and has obligations to society in which the free and comprehensive development of their personality is ensured.
Honored coach of Ukraine in kickboxing WAKO, senior coach of the national team of Ukraine in full contact, coach-teacher of the Donetsk regional children's and youth sports school Vitaliy Li began his sports career in 1971 as a boxer.
Later, having gained the necessary training and experience, he transitioned to coaching, which over the years grew into a lifelong vocation. In 2021, he was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Coach of Ukraine." His many years of pedagogical activity is a model of professionalism, dedication, and systematic work in the field of physical education of youth.
Under the guidance of Vitaliy Li, dozens of leading athletes have been prepared, among them champions and prize-winners of Ukraine, Europe, and the world: Natalia Martyukhina, Abbas Aliyev, Stanislav Danichev, Mykyta Bratchuk, and others. His students systematically demonstrate high results in national and international competitions, confirming the effectiveness of his training methods.
Vitaliy Li began working in Horlivka in Donetsk region. His long-term sports activity was associated with this city. However, due to the Russian armed invasion, he was forced to change cities for training twice – after the events of 2014, he moved to Toretsk, and after 2022 – to Kyiv.
As a teacher, Vitaliy Li combines sports mastery with the upbringing of discipline, respect, responsibility, and patriotism. His contribution to the development of kickboxing and the education of the younger generation is highly valued in the professional community.
Thanks to specialists like Vitaliy Li, the glorious traditions of Ukrainian sports continue to multiply on international arenas.
Donetsk region is proud of its masters! We believe that after our Victory, all those who contribute to the sports glory of Donetsk region will return to their native cities, and opportunities for the development of sports will be even greater.
