The Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine is continuing to implement a project as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are You?”—an initiative launched by First Lady Olena Zelenska.
This project involves establishing Resilience Centers in communities, where anyone can receive psychosocial support free of charge.
Pokrovska, in cooperation with the Mariupol, Mangush, Mykolaiv, and Sartana communities, has participated in a pilot project to introduce comprehensive social services for building resilience in accordance with Resolution No. 1049 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 3, 2023, and continues to provide these services in accordance with Resolution No. 1505 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 19, 2025. At the same time, the communities are collaborating with charitable and civil society organizations to provide social services within the region and beyond.
Communities in the Donetsk region have established four resilience centers that provide evacuated residents of the Donetsk region with comprehensive social services aimed at building resilience outside the region—in the cities of Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro.
This year, the resilience centers hosted 467 joint evening gatherings and meetings with older adults to share experiences, in which 1,616 older adults participated.
These meetings help our senior citizens overcome the challenges of wartime, integrate into their host communities, and maintain ties with the Donetsk region.
Our Resilience Centers are welcoming, accessible spaces where any community member can seek support from a psychologist or consult with a social worker.
We invite all Donetsk residents to visit their nearest Resilience Center and receive comprehensive social services designed to build resilience.
