The Ministry of Social Policy is continuing to implement a project as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are You?” initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska.
This project involves the creation of Resilience Centers by communities, where everyone can receive psychosocial support free of charge.
The Pokrovska, Mangushska, Nikolskaya, and Sartanska territorial communities are participating in the pilot project in accordance with Resolution No. 1049 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 3, 2023, and are cooperating with charitable and public organizations to provide social services within and outside the region.
The communities of Donetsk region have established four resilience centers that provide evacuated residents of Donetsk region with comprehensive social services to build resilience outside the region, in the cities of Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro.
This year, more than 100 meetings with older people to exchange experiences were held at the life sustainability centers, with about 500 older people participating.
These meetings help our senior citizens overcome the difficulties of wartime, integrate into their host communities, and maintain ties with Donetsk Oblast.
Our Resilience Centers are friendly, barrier-free spaces where every community member can seek psychological support or consult with a social worker.
We invite all Donetsk residents to visit their nearest Resilience Center and receive comprehensive social services to build resilience.
