The Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Students, which currently operates in Kropyvnytskyi, organized an intensive program of active recreation for displaced children. It included a short hiking course and archery lessons. More than 50 children took part in the events.
Hiking is not only a sport and physical activity, but also a great school of endurance, mutual support and teamwork. Staying outdoors in harmony with nature helps to temper body and spirit, develops observation, intelligence and self-confidence. Archery gave the children a real explosion of emotions: they felt like skilled archers, honed their accuracy and discovered a new, exciting experience.
Such activities are an important step towards the social adaptation of children who survived the war and were forced to leave their homes. Active recreation reduces stress, helps to unlock inner potential and restores self-confidence.
Together we create a space where childhood becomes bright, safe and full of joy again!
