Board games are more than just a game. They are a space for dialogue between generations, mental training, and shared leisure.
Thanks to the cooperation of the IDP Support Center of the Kramatorsk district "WeTogether" and the Donetsk Regional Center for Physical Health "Sport for All" chess and checkers competitions were held in the city park of Dnipro for residents of Donetsk region. At the boards, representatives of different generations came together — children, adults, and elderly people. And the main thing in these games is not victory, but dialogue, concentration, strategy, and community.
Also, at the IDP Support Center of the Kramatorsk district "WeTogether" in Poltava, visitors played board games: Chinese checkers, reversi, backgammon, and Go. During the event, children and adults played board games, learned the rules, developed logic, and learned to think strategically.
In the humanitarian and cultural hub of the Myrne village military administration "The Peaceful Heart of Donetsk," the first round of the chess tournament took place, uniting adults passionate about chess, providing an opportunity for communication and community bonding. Tournament participants demonstrated not only strategic thinking but also endurance, mutual respect, sportsmanship, support for one another, and valuable experience.
We stand together! In unity, there is our strength!
