Within the framework of the Civil Society Week in Ukraine, the Department for Interaction with Local Governments of the Kramatorsk District State Administration organized an open coffee "Dialogue for the Development of Civil Society".
The event was held at the IDP Support Center of Kramatorsk District "MiRazom" in Dnipro. Young people from Donetsk region, representatives of the NGO "Creative Association of Donetsk Region" and the NGO "Strong Communities" joined the conversation.
In a friendly atmosphere, they talked about the origins of civil society: they recalled Ukrainian dissidents such as Vasyl Stus, Ivan Dziuba, Levko Lukyanenko, Vyacheslav Chornovil, Iryna Kalynets, and others who paved the way for freedom by their example. They also discussed the events of the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity, which became new stages in the formation of an active civil society in Ukraine.
In addition, the participants took part in a special game to develop emotional intelligence, which helps to improve communication skills, critical thinking and teamwork.
Such meetings not only deepen knowledge of history and modernity, but also contribute to the formation of new skills necessary for active citizenship.
