On June 12, an event titled “Families of Heroes: Remembrance, Support, and Cooperation” was held, bringing together family members of veterans and the families of fallen (deceased) defenders of Ukraine from the Kramatorsk city community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs of the Regional State Administration, the Kramatorsk District State Administration, and the District Military Administration.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
- regional initiatives to support family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine;
- systematic support for family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine in the Kramatorsk community: social support, counseling, and interaction with families;
- providing health and recreational opportunities for the children of family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine;
- honoring the memory of fallen Defenders of Ukraine and creating a Community Book of Remembrance.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Department of Veterans’ Policy at the Regional State Administration, spoke about the social guarantees provided at the national and regional levels.
