As part of the cooperation between the Lyman and Kremenchuk communities within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," a personal reception for citizens was held in the city of Kremenchuk.
The reception was attended by the head of the Lyman City Military Administration, Oleksandr Zhuravlov, the deputy mayors for housing and communal services and social issues, as well as relevant specialists from structural subdivisions.
During the personal reception, residents of the Liman region asked questions about:
- social protection and receiving material assistance;
- providing humanitarian aid;
- housing and communal services;
- compensation for property destroyed or damaged as a result of hostilities;
- other issues related to forced displacement.
As part of the meeting with displaced persons, a mobile social office was organized, which enabled citizens to simultaneously address both community leaders and specialists to receive the necessary advice, explanations, and practical assistance.
As a result of the mobile office's work, administrative and social services were provided, including updating data in registries, consultations on compensation for damaged property, processing applications, and determining social support needs.
The field visits conducted as part of the Side by Side: United Communities project ensure the availability of services for internally displaced persons, strengthen interaction between communities, and facilitate the prompt resolution of pressing issues for residents regardless of their location.
