In the village of Kropyvna in the Cherkasy region, as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a commemorative event was held with one important goal: to honor our heroes, thank them for their heroism, and preserve the memory of those who defended Ukraine.
In the village of Kropyvna, representatives of the Zolotonosha and Shakhiv communities organized a commemorative run and car rally, whose participants demonstrated through their example that the memory of our defenders lives on in the hearts of each and every one of us.
It was particularly symbolic that the route ended near a banner dedicated to the missing defenders of the Shakhiv community and the Kropyvna Starosta District.
Near the banner, event participants planted flowers as a symbol of remembrance, hope, and faith. Each flower became a small token of deep gratitude to those who are defending our country today, to those who have fallen, and to those whom we continue to await.
Behind every name lies a human destiny, a family, friends, dreams, and unfulfilled plans. Behind every missing Defender is a family living in hope of news and waiting for the return of their loved one.
We have no right to forget. Remembrance is not just words. It is our actions, our care for memorial sites, and our willingness to tell future generations the truth about the price of freedom.
