A cultural and educational event titled “Families of Donetsk Oblast: From Generation to Generation” took place in Kropyvnytskyi, organized by the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The event brought together over 100 internally displaced persons from Donetsk Oblast, community representatives, representatives of humanitarian hubs, and young people. The main goal of the gathering was to create a welcoming space for families to interact, promote family values, and emphasize the important role of fathers in raising children amid the war.
The event’s program harmoniously combined the practical with the enjoyable. While the adults received important advice from specialists on employment, pensions, and medical and psychological assistance, the children were engaged in creative activities.
The children participated in workshops, played board games, and worked together to color a large map of Ukraine. The atmosphere of unity and resilience was enhanced by vibrant performances by cadets from Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs and creative groups from relocated communities in the Donetsk region.
