An important meeting was held in Kryvyi Rih, dedicated to the future of young people—their professional development and maintaining ties with their homeland. The career guidance event, organized by the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events for National-Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration in collaboration with the Mariupol community and Mariupol State University, brought together representatives of communities from the Donetsk region as well as young people from the Kryvyi Rih area.
The event took place at the “YaMariupol. Kryvyi Rih” IDP Support Center, which has become a symbol of a home away from home, a place where community support and unity are felt. It was in this atmosphere of trust that MSU specialists told prospective applicants about the specifics of the 2026 admissions campaign namely: the university’s majors and educational programs, the advantages of studying at a relocated university, and admission benefits for IDPs and war veterans.
The main message of the meeting was that choosing Mariupol University is not just about a degree, but also about preserving regional identity. In today’s world, it is extremely important for people to feel a sense of belonging to their local community, as it is these local communities that make up the broader Ukrainian national and civic identity.
