On November 14, the Lviv National Academy of Arts will host the opening of the poster exhibition "About Kuindzhi for Youth through Youth Art."
This was reported by the Mariupol Local History Museum.
The exhibition was created based on the results of a national competition held as part of the "Arkhip Kuindzhi Memorial" project, an art initiative dedicated to the brilliant Ukrainian artist of Greek origin.
The project brought together young artists from different regions of Ukraine who, through the language of posters, reflect on Kuindzhi's legacy — his light, color, and spirit of freedom, which remains relevant today.
The opening will feature a discussion and reflection on the figure and work of Arkhip Kuindzhi, the influence of art and prominent personalities on the formation of young people's values, and the role of culture in the development of regions and the state.
Special attention will be paid to the topics of contemporary means of self-expression for artists, the perception of the creativity of previous generations by young people, and the importance of popularizing Ukrainian art.
