Nearly 100 children from our region will spend three weeks in the Carpathians.
These are children in special need of support: many have experienced evacuation, the loss of their homes, and other consequences of the war. Here, they will be able to rest, regain their strength, make new friends, and, at least for a while, reclaim a normal childhood.
A health and sports program, excursions, creative activities, and sessions with psychologists have been prepared for them. The main goal is to create a safe space where a child can feel calm and at ease.
In total, over 2,200 children from Donetsk Oblast were provided with health and recreational breaks this summer, including those currently living outside the region.
We are continuing this work together with local communities. Parents and guardians who wish to learn about health and recreational opportunities for children can contact the social protection departments in their respective communities.
