On May 27, as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a Day of Good Deeds was held at the Toretsk Territorial Social Services Center, which has been relocated to the village of Karabchiyiv in the Ruzhyn community.
Specialists from the Ruzhyn Center for Social Services visited the facility’s residents and organized free haircuts for displaced persons from the Toretsk community.
For many elderly people, this gathering was a true celebration, as the guests brought not only professional services but also sincere care, attention, and support. During the event, the residents had the opportunity to socialize and experience humanity and warmth, which is extremely important today for everyone who has experienced forced displacement due to the war.
Such initiatives once again confirm the importance of mutual support between communities, the development of partnerships, and unity during this difficult time for the country. Such events not only help meet daily needs but also create an atmosphere of mutual understanding and solidarity.
