This was reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
“Literally every week this amount increases — we regularly make the relevant decisions at meetings of the Defense Council of Donetsk Region, and communities themselves also adopt such decisions.
In particular, UAH 1.2 billion was allocated for the creation and reinforcement of defensive lines, and UAH 1.5 billion directly to the units defending Donetsk region, for the purchase of necessary equipment.
Drones, including FPV drones, as well as EW and ELINT systems — all of this was purchased by the units themselves, based on their needs, using the funds provided by the region and the communities.
