Participants in the "Carpathian Shift" project from Donetsk, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions spent the day together, taking part in sports, cultural, and educational activities.
The program began with a joint soccer training session, the opening of which was attended by Viktor Mykyta, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine; Myroslav Biletskyi, Head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration; and Roman Sarai, Chairman of the Zakarpattia Regional Council.
After the sports activities, the children watched the play “The Kaidashev Family” at the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater (Transcarpathian Drama Theater) and visited Uzhhorod Castle and the Tyvodar Legotsky Local History Museum.
Such gatherings provide children not only with new knowledge and experiences but also with the opportunity to socialize, make friends from different parts of Ukraine, and discover the culture and history of our country.
The “Carpathian Shift” project is being implemented at the initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine, regional military administrations, and the Ukrainian Football Association.
