This year, the fourth (final) stage of the 26th Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Competition brought together 796 of the country’s top language experts from all over Ukraine—ranging from third-grade students to university students.
Donetsk Oblast was proudly represented in the finals by a strong team of 31 participants. We are especially proud to congratulate the talented students who won prizes at the national level, demonstrating a deep understanding of their native language, remarkable erudition, and a creative approach:
1st place — Veronika Khomenko, a 6th-grade student at Velykonovosilkovsky Secondary School No. 2 (Grades 1–3) of the Velykonovosilkovsky Village Council, Donetsk Oblast;
2nd place – Damir Kondratenko, a 5th-grade student at the Kramatorsk Educational Complex “General Education School No. 6 (Grades 1–3) – Preschool Educational Institution of the Kramatorsk City Council” in Donetsk Oblast;
